Remembering Josephine Gardiner

The life and work of the Penzance-based writer who sadly died earlier this year. With an emphasis on her critically acclaimed novel ‘Whistling Jack,’ the ideas and inspirations behind the book, its characters and locations, including readings from the novel followed by a Q&A.
An opportunity to discover more about Josephine’s life. A newspaper journalist for many years she also worked on environmental and art publications. An “eccentric” in the best possible way according to colleagues she led a rich and varied life. From detention in East Berlin to being glued to the Home Office railings Josephine was passionate in her beliefs.
